Tafaraj means “the one who brings justice”. With your purchase of this design of black clay beads, you are now also bringing justice to the destitute. You can rock this gear out as a bracelet or a necklace. There are 3 styles of this product, the original which is simply the dark clay and silver beads. We now have two limited edition versions of the Tafaraj, one accented with black and silver beads, the other with clear and silver. Pictured with black and silver option.
The Amharic names of each design were carefully picked to represent our core values as an organization and each clay bead was hand created by the empowered women and men of Mission Ethiopia. Every bead, though similar, has it’s own unique dark shading and coloring that makes your purchase the only one like it in the world! This exclusive line was created with the specific purpose of being worn by men and women alike. Most of these unique pieces can be worn as a necklace, bracelet or even an anklet. They were not made to be worn in water and should be handled with care.
Each of our pieces has two unique beads: one represents you and the other a child, a woman, a family or community that your purchase is impacting.
